In the Parks Series - Restaurant Review: Pinocchio Village Haus

Hi, fam! As promised, I’m going to be reviewing Pinocchio Village Haus in today’s article. Love it or hate it, it’s definitely a classic.

First off, we used the mobile ordering option that is available for select Quick Service fare. All in all, it went fairly smoothly. We ordered in the morning, then clicked the app to have it prepared when we got there. Our main issue (which had nothing to do with mobile ordering) was finding a seat. This dining option always seems congested at best. However, once that issue was settled it was smooth sailing from there.

Chris and I opted to share two meal options. We chose the caprese flatbread and the 6-piece chicken nuggets with fries.

Caprese Flatbread

Regarding the flatbread, this is a Quick Service meal that defines what it means to be a Quick Service meal. For what it was, it was edible, but bland. There was not much cheese. Probably skippable if you have a Disney eats bucket list.

Chicken Nuggets

The chicken nuggets were delicious and moist. Chris gave the ‘chimken nuggers’ a 5/5. Probably will need someone to ‘do you a carry’ when you’re done.

We wish we could say the same about the fries as we did about the chicken nuggets. They were easily the worst part of the meal, tasting like they’d been in Grandma’s freezer for the last two years (similar to Columbia Harbour House). They were hard, bland, and crunchy in a bad way. Yes, crunchy in a bad way does exist.

Factoring in the good and the bad, this restaurant gets 2.75/5 mouse ears. Most of the points for this restaurant come from the chicken nuggets alone, so that’s something to consider when you’re choosing a dining establishment. This is especially true when you consider the chicken nuggets can be found elsewhere.
