Seven Tastiest Noms in the Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Hollywood Studios that You'll Want NOW!

We looked at nine of the tastiest snacks (and alcohol) in Epcot a few weeks ago. It's only fitting to do the same for the snacks and drinks you can find at some of the other parks. Today we're going to look at three of the tastiest noms we had at the Animal Kingdom, three of the tastiest snacks at Disney Springs, and one of the tastiest drinks you can find at Hollywood Studios. My list is going to include both snacks AND alcohol, so all y'all who don't consider alcohol a snack are warned. These seven tastiest noms will have you furiously typing #disneyeats on Instagram until you can get your fix.

7. Margarita

During the summer, who doesn’t want a margarita? I know I do. The margarita I had at Disney Springs was just what the doctor ordered. The tequila was not overpowering, and the sweetness of the strawberry slush was refreshing. For what you receive, the price isn’t too bad either - $12.75 USD for a good-sized cup. This is not going to be on par with an upscale restaurant, but it is still a solid margarita that gets the job done. We shared this drink and found it to be more than enough for us to both enjoy.

This margarita was found in Disney Springs at Dockside Margaritas.

6. Coke Slush with Rum

Ah, the Coca-Cola slush with a little something extra! You get a coke slush with some Captain Morgan's spiced rum added in. They DO NOT skimp on the alcohol at this park! I've had a few of these on numerous trips, and every time I've always felt satisfied with the slush-to-rum ratio. This beverage is reminiscent of college, when rum and coke slush was how you got through midterms week (before or after exams is up to you).

You can find this refreshing beverage in the Animal Kingdom at Isle of Java if you're looking for a beverage with an added kick to it.

5. Dole Whip with Rum

This snack really is the best of both worlds. As both a snack and alcohol, this one really hits it ot of the park! Dole Whip has cult-like status already, so adding in some rum is just the cherry on the sundae. Again, they do not skimp on alcohol with this snack. You can get it with either dark or coconut rum: your choice on which rum will top off your snack!

My only complaint with this snack is the size. It's quite bite-sized for the $7.50 USD price accociated with it. If you're actually hungry, this snack isn't going to get you very far. If you're just looking for a good time, this one may be for you!

You can find the Dole Whip with rum at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in the Animal Kingdom.

4. Mickey Ear Hat Toffee Brownie

My husband had the Mickey ear hat toffee brownie. On top of being super cute, it was very tasty! I definitely bummed some of it off him. The chocolate was rich, but didn’t overpower the hints of toffee found in the ears of the brownie. Unlike some of the other brownies I’ve had in the past, this one did not taste dry or stale; rather it had just the right amount of moisture to hold it together without being a sticky mess. Overall, this snack is highly recommended by us.

3. Red Velvet Mickey Cake Pop

Where to begin with this snack? First off, it’s moist and chocolately with hints of vanilla, so a true red velvet cake offering. This snack is covered with milk chocolate and has white chocolate stripes and sprinkles and has two marshmallow ears hiding in there. Even though it’s a smaller snack, it’s dense enough that a little goes a long way.

Both the Mickey ear hat toffee brownie and the red velvet Mickey cake pop can be found at Disney Springs at Candy Cauldron.

2. Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake

Oh boy! The peanut butter and jelly milkshake has achieved next-level status with me. People rave about this frosty treat, so I knew I had to try it on my most recent trip.

This milkshake did not disappoint. Although the flavouring is very heavily peanut butter, there is a sweet note to it provided by the jelly. Be warned: you may want to share this giant if you don’t want brain freeze or to get a sugar hangover later in the day. If you’re a masochist with a sweet tooth, guzzle the whole thing back and meet some Stormtroopers or jump on Slinky Dog Dash!

This sweet treat can be found at Hollywood Studios at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe or at the Tune-In Lounge.

1. French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese

For our number one tastiest nom, I had to choose the French fries with pulled pork and cheese! The pork to cheese ratio is just perfect: this snack absolutely melts in your mouth with the tender pork topping the fries! The drizzle of barbecue sauce provides a tangy element to provide some complexity to the taste of the dish.

This also makes a great meal to share. My husband and I found it filling enough to continue on our way with a small snack later in the evening. For you budget-conscious folks, it’s cheap, coming in at only $6.79 USD! I’ll be doing a segment on best shareable meals coming up.

The French fries with pulled pork and cheese can be found in the Animal Kingdom at the Flame Tree Barbecue.
