Nine Snacks in the Magic Kingdom Sure to Make You Have a Magical Day!

We've talked about snacks in most of the parks and Disney Springs here and here. But what about the Magic Kingdom? This park has a ton of delicious snacks in it to choose from.

A worthy mention is the original Dole Whip. I believe the Dole Whip with Rum from the Animal Kingdom is in a league of its own (and our preference in terms of Dole Whip), so I won't be discussing it today.

Here are nine snacks that are sure to make your day just a little more magical while you're in the park!

9. Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich

This sweet and spicy chicken sandwich is an interesting and imaginative take on chicken and waffles! The chicken and coleslaw is wrapped in a waffle, hitting both sweet and savoury notes. The spiciness of the chicken is tampered down perfectly by the coleslaw. Although it's not on a Mickey Waffle, the waffle tastes very similar. This waffle treat can be enjoyed as a snack and shared or eaten as a meal; it's really up to you!

This sweet and spicy chicken waffle can be found at Sleepy Hollow.

Look out, Popeye's! There's a new guy in town!

8. Share-a-Coke

Coca-Cola's Share-a-Coke campaign began in Australia in 2011. It has since become a smash hit, being rolled out in over 80 countries and increasing young adult consumption by up to 7%, with a 2% increase in sales in the US alone.

Well, Share-a-Coke has been Disney-fied too! You can get a variety of Share-a-Cokes - Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise to name a few. For those of you wishing for a zero calorie or sugar-free option, Diet Coke and Coke Zero were in on this campaign.

These can be found throughout the park at various merchandise stores and vending machines.

I will never not want Coke with a Haunted Mansion label. Wake me up from my sugar coma in an hour, please.

7. Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Sandwich

Ah yes, back to this one. Although I mentioned it in my Epcot snack article, I feel it warrants another mention. These ice cream sandwiches are just so refreshing in that Florida heat! I don't know what you guys would do for a Klondike bar, but I'm pretty sure it'll have to be even more for one of these babies.

These can be found at the Treat Carts in the park.

I'll admit I ate a lot of these on my trip... Disney food babies are a real thing thanks to all the delicious food.

6. Lefou's Brew

Hailed as being Disney World's version of Butterbeer (not too sure I agree!), Lefou's Brew is definitely something else. This frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow that is topped with a passion fruit and mango foam is a classic. Although it can come across as overly sweet, it is a rite of passage for any Disney goer!

Lefou's Brew can be found at Gaston's Tavern.

Not quite Butterbeer, but pretty delicious nonetheless!

5. All-American Sundae

The All-American Sundae has vanilla and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry on top for good measure. This tasty treat is sweet, with savoury notes from the peanut butter. It's a perfect pick-me-up after an afternoon Orlando drizzle. Put away your ponchos and pull out your spoons!

This treat can be found at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.

You could drown in this whipped cream if you aren't careful.

4. Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

Where to begin with this one? Well firstly, there are two freshly made chocolate chips like grandma used to make that make the 'bread' of the sandwich. The cookies are soft, chewy, and warm, with just the right amount of chocolate-to-cookie dough-ratio.

Your cookie sandwich is finished off with your choice of hand-scooped ice cream. Mix and match and share with your friends, or eat the whole damn thing.

Like the All-American Sundae, this treat can be found at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.

The best way to enjoy ice cream in my opinion!

3. Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich

Ever since the introduction of Nutella in 1964 by Italian company Ferraro, it has been both a bane and blessing on our society. This waffle with fruit and Nutella is no different! It's a worthy meal in its own right, but can also be eaten as a snack among a small group or for one extra-hungry Mousekateer!

You can find the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow.

This was the perfect size for sharing! Less guilt, all yum!

2. Churros

What list is complete without churros? This tasty pastry is life. Flaky, soft, and covered with that sugary goodness. Who can resist the urge to get one of these bad boys on their trip? They go excellent with chocolate sauce, as well as on their own. Unlike other snacks, churros don't need an accompaniment to be delicious.

Churros can be found at the Churro Cart in Frontierland.

My husband's Disney food baby came from this little slice of heaven right here... And its many brothers and sisters.

1. Mickey Pretzel

This iconic treat had to land the #1 spot. Not only is this pretzel shaped like Mickey, the grains of salt add just a little bit of naughtiness to this treat! You can eat this pretzel on its own, with cheese sauce, or with my personal favourite, chocolate sauce! The savoury and sweet element of chocolate on this salty snack makes you keep coming back for more. Ask for chocolate sauce instead of cheese sauce; the Cast Members will be more than happy to accommodate your request and you won't regret it. It just may be your new favourite way to enjoy this tasty snack!

Mickey Pretzels can be found at the Churro Cart in Frontierland.

Until we meet again, I'll just have to make due with my Mickey Pretzel Keychain...
